Jersey/Tri-State 4.8 quake

4.8 is not very severe unless you are very close to the epicenter. We have 'em here in LA from time to time.
Each whole number of the scale increases severity by about 31 times.
The scary ones start at about 6.0 usually.
Of course, a lot of our buildings are designed with quakes in mind but most homes are not.

Oh, you Californians are the pros at earthquakes. I think the term "hang in there" must have originated there lol.

Going to listen in to Clyde Lewis tonight. He's covering all the angles of the quake/eclipse connection with Dr. Sky and, of all people, Richard C. Hougland.
