i think there is only four or so situations that even military aircraft can turn off transponders (or at least the ads-b systems...natl defense, homeland security, law enforcement-fbi related, and intelligence) now, granted, intelligence could be a reason if this is true, but even then they have to have FAA authorization, and its not really a secret if permission has been granted, unless its an on going operation, in which then that info would not have been publicly available... if the attorney general got that info then its not an active investigation. a helicopter is not the best use for intel gathering. but it IS the best use to drop a team in ....lol..... if travis is on the uap task force then they have access to all the info coming from the ranch already, no need for spook operations or black birds flying around....i havent watched the show in a while, just kinda follow along here and there, but i am familiar with SOP of how military intelligence and the methods of gathering intel works. ... if the attorney general, or anyone for that matter, leaked out an ongoing military, fbi, cia, etc... investigation of any type his career would be over, that tells me its either a possible fabrication for the show, or something unrelated alltogether. could be wrong, just have to wait and see....lol
