This article is so wrong, in many ways. A lot of those things on the list are still being used; some of them by cultures other than American. Especially Ghee, which has gotten more popular than ever, thanks to the current carnivore and Paleo trends.
And I just cooked a pot of bone broth from beef bones, which will be used in soups and stews. I have rose water in my cabinet. I guess thinking that these things are no longer used is a generation thing?
