If this happens, I don’t think I’ll be watching. Most reboots are unsuccessful and it’s better left alone.

They would have to totally change the storyboard on this for it to even have a chance. The audience that loved the original will have a difficult time accepting a new version.

If Disney could learn from their mistakes with reboots and bring in the original writers, directors and producers - it could work. Then again, it may not. Robert Patrick and Annabeth Gish were slated to replace Duchnovy and Anderson as the leads towards the original series finale, but fans weren’t having it. If the reboot takes place, time will tell. But honestly the reboots need to cease.

Reboot will not work. An original prequel series could work, like a founding of the X-Files series.

Yep, they were good on the other mandella time line where the fairy used her wand. Why oh why another reboot of this show, does no one have any new ideas!
