When I lived in Florida, I was there for one very big temp dip below freezing, and truly, these creatures literally fall out of trees. It's rather eerie.

Well, you weren't the only one thinking this. Just saw some video on the news of some guy grilling a few and and also making a pizza from them.

I saw that and it looked like he was loving it too. The poor little guys. Do they die from the cold or are they ok after?

They get really big! Had a neighbor that had 2 off them, big enough to eat my whole hand :O
I'm sure they were on the menu at one time long ago
